Northpine City Improvement District (NCID)

The Northpine City Improvement District NPC (NCID) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and implement the NCID Business Plan, ensuring the effective delivery of urban management, safety, and social development services within the Northpine area.

Key Responsibilities

·        Manage the daily operations of the NCID, including urban management, cleaning, safety and security, environmental upgrading, and social development initiatives.

·        Ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of the NCID Business Plan and Implementation Plan.

·        Manage the NCID’s finances, budgets, procurement, and statutory reporting.

·        Act as the main point of contact for property owners, businesses, stakeholders, SAPS, City of Cape Town officials, and service providers.

·        Provide regular reporting to the NCID Board and the City of Cape Town.

·        Oversee contracts, service providers, and Service Level Agreements, ensuring quality and compliance.

·        Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, including residents, businesses, NGOs, and local government structures.

·        Represent the NCID at Subcouncil, CID Forum, Community Policing Forum, and other relevant stakeholder meetings.

·        Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and good governance requirements.

·        Time management and organisational skills.

·        Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

·        Minimum 5–7 years management or supervisory experience in urban management, local government, law enforcement, public safety, or related fields.

·        Relevant N6/Diploma/Degree (advantageous).

·        Knowledge of the municipal processes.

·        Valid SA Code 8 driver’s license and own vehicle is essential

·        Medically fit

·        Police Clearance
